Love Birds

We hadn’t really thought about topping our wedding pie (yes, we’re having wedding pie) with any sort of ornament until we were inspired by these irresistibly cute little creatures 
. We loved the idea, but it just wasn’t at the top of our ever-expanding to-do list. Until fate intervened when we attended Phog Fest 
, a music festival at Phog Lounge in Windsor.
Inside the bar, was a collection of adorably sweet crocheted animals and cat toys. They instantly reminded me of the love bird idea and so I set about tracking down the artist. Sure enough, she was working the door at the festival. When I asked if she would be willing to make something for us, she actually hugged me! Days later she had completed the precious masterpieces and mailed them to us. And we just love them! If you are ever in need of any sort of knitted creation, get in touch with Dianne. Tara and Aaron: The little critters were cute and I have to say the wedding pie idea was brilliant! What a refreshing change from cake. And they were home made to boot…it felt like we were guests for dinner at your home…it was an intimate, warm and happy event.
